We would love to have you join us for our Sunday service at 9:00 a.m. Here is what you can expect:
Friendly People
We would love to get to know you and see what we can do to care for you while you are here.
A Relaxed Environment
We have individuals who like to dress up for church and others who do not. Feel free to wear whatever is comfortable for you, and you will fit right in.
Biblical Content
We preach expository sermons from the Bible, sing both contemporary songs and ancient hymns, and spend time in prayer.
As you enter our parking lot from Mulberry you will see our main entrance, and we encourage you to park as close to it as possible. Once you have found a spot, come in the main doors and head over to our Welcome Center, just to your left, where someone will be waiting to greet and assist you.
0-2 Years
Throughout the entire Sunday morning service we have Nursery Team members available to care for your child and show them the love of Jesus in a safe, playful environment.
Preschool-2nd grade
At First Baptist we value worshiping together as a family. So for the first 30 minutes of the service, the kids sing and pray with all the adults. During the transition to the teaching time, parents can check kids in preschool through 2nd grade into Kids Church. This is an age-appropriate time of teaching, singing, and activities to help reinforce the Bible story.
3rd grade-5th grade
At this age, kids participate in the entire service alongside their parents. We believe having these kids sit in the service during the teaching time helps develop habits and practices that are key to growth as a youth. To help encourage retention during this time, sermon guides are available in our front entryway.
Check In/Check Out
To maintain a safe and secure environment we use a check in software that enables us to keep track of your kids and ensure that they are safely returned to their parents or a pre-approved guardian.
Safety
All First Baptist Kids Team volunteers go through extensive background checks prior to serving. In addition, each volunteer receives ongoing training on policies and procedures, in order to ensure your kids are in safe hands.
